Redundancy Report

When a security appliance distributor reluctantly needed to make redundancies, the company was determined to support those whose contracts were terminated and help them to find future employment.

Clockwork were asked to create and deliver a programme of workshops designed to help staff members update their CVs, write effective covering letters and improve their interview techniques.

Results

By enlisting the help of Clockwork on a pay-per-day basis, the security company not only more than fulfilled its duty of care to staff, it also enhanced its own reputation with positive knock-on effects for the brand.

Specific Applications:

Time was spent with each individual, helping them update their CV and covering letter.
Clockwork ran workshops covering what to do before and during an interview, covering things such as the types of questions that may come up at interview.
Further to discussing improvements to be made to CV’s and letters, feedback was given about the updated versions.
Follow up contact has been maintained with a number of candidates passing on the news of recent new job successes.
